It really all boils down to the multi-player demo and as the PK Dev Team stated the multi-player demo will not be relased till after the game is released. This is what I'm waiting for so I can get a look and feel for how the game will be. From the video it looks a lot like quake but only time will tell.

Im not sure if any one knows about it but there was a leaked pk multi player demo it had only one map worked and you could shoot barrels off but i beleive it was for lan use only it would shut off when ever you tried join game. but it looked very nice you could add colors to name etc. and it had pull down console jus tlike q3's.

Yeah I have the leaked version on my computer. I had talked to Zack about this and we would end up needing to setup a VPN to get it to work across the internet. Nothing was really done after this discussion.

I did get to play the painkiller leak on a lan with a friend, it'll be faster than quake3... closer to quake1, maybe faster... if they leave the physics and everything the same. Either way should be a really fun experience none the less! Definately buying this one, i'm not gonna wait for a multiplayer demo!

yeah ill probably end up buying it one way or another. im pretty broke with fines and shit but i always find a way to pull together some cash.
