I remember when you didn't even know what QFT meant.

You could have called to tell me you weren't coming.  Have you told Nancy yet?  If not I can link her this thread and she can find out on an internet forum too...

Just fucking with you big dog, it's sucks you can't make it though.  We'll get some good pics for you.

I'm sorry man. I intended to tell you this weekend. I've already texted her, but haven't spoken to her.

I DO feel like shit that I won't make it, but with saving up for the (hopeful,) move in June, money's just too tight.

Screw your plans. You should come to Firewater instead. :-P

John and Nancy are getting married?!

Small ceremony on April 4th. Jana and I were invited, but sadly, we won't have the funding to make the trip to Kansas City.

She's going back to Iraq for a year come June, so they decided to tie the knot. It's nice to know I've done at least one good thing in my life. :-P

Kansas City Josh is getting married too, now that you mention it.  Not that it really matters, nothing will change there :P.

They've practically been married since I first met them.  :-P

Who all's planning on going?

Jana and I are definitely going, and Brandon sounded pretty affirmative about it when I talked to him about it last night. We've left a message with Jesse, hoping he's gonna come too. We were thinking about maybe getting some Genghis (damn been a long time since I've done THAT,) before hand, too.

Anyone else have plans to go?

first few instances are a bit weak. No strategy involved, really. Just run n gun. Boo.

No different from the first few instances in WoW though... trust me, they get a lot more complicated after a little while.

Just a heads up for those of you who care, My fiance Farah (Paracetamol) passed her interview with the US embassy in ireland and got approved for her visa.  Unfortunately she needs to supply them with some forms indicating she's not been in jail, which will take a few weeks, but once she gets those handed in she'll have her visa and be good to go.

I know the first thing I'll be asked is "so when will she be here".  Unfortunately I don't know yet, but at least we know its going to happen.  So its been a good day :).

That IS good news. I know how long you've been waiting for that.

On a lighter note, this is making me think of all the wild changes that have, and will happen, in less than a year.

I'm in Dallas
John and Nancy are getting married in less than a month, (grats guys, wish I could be there.)
Farah is FINALLY moving to the states, after... how long have you two been in touch? 8 years?
Rose is moving to Atlanta in June or so I think.
Rumor has it also that Josh's girlfriend, (this is Jelak, not CountXero,) might be able to come home soon.

Pretty wild, and pretty great stuff.

K, Jana's machine is up and 100-percent, (what else would you expect from nVidia hardware?)

John: We're down for a repeat of last weekend. BTW, we figured out how to find and down that Stalker Overseer.

Kevin: Got your name, I'll add you to friends, and toss a clan invite when I see you online. Glad you're joining us, it's been far too long sicne we ran together.

So John, Jana, myself, and possibly Johnnie and my coworker Richard are talking about playing pretty heavily this weekend.

For anyone who's already playing, or if you would like to try it out, this is the weekend to do it. There's a three day trial available from MMORPG.com for members, and those of us who have bought the game should have some remaining invite-a-friend keys. If you're interested, PM me your email address, and I'll do what I can to get one out to you.

We're playing on the Orion realm, primarily in Palisades and Plains this weekend, but we can probably drop back to help anyone who's starting new get rolling.

Hope to see you there!

Speaking of TR, John couldn't figure out how to send an invite (or at least couldn't because he hadn't been playing long enough). Anybody got one to send?

I might. PM me your email address.

chris and I are considering picking it up.  we are into TR right now but if enough ppl get into conan, we will defiantly give it a try.

along the lines of games coming out i want to try, spore's release date got pushed back again   that looks very interesting.

I know the KC guys were interested in giving Conan a go, and I am too.

That being said, like Jana mentioned, we're into TR right now, along with Morg, his buddy Johnnie, and my coworker Richard. The rest of the KC guys are progressing very nicely through WoW, (Morg mentioned they were working Kael the other night, grats to that.)

I'd definitely play if enough people were interested... but using TR as a judge, I don't think we can get enough people into AoC to reach a critical mass. Guess I'll wait and see what happens.

And yes... Spore got pushed back, but Starcraft II is right on schedule, which is cool. :)

alrighty, someone give me a decent run-down of tabula rasa. Pricing, gameplay, etc....

Same people as made Guild Wars, so play is similar, but has FPS elements.

15 bucks a month.

Friggin play.
